Privacy policy

This policy covers themoneydoor.co, the qualify form, the calculators, and the on-site chat. THEMONEYDOOR is the name on this site. Contact office@themoneydoor.co.

This is a website policy. It is not a loan application, a commitment to lend, or the privacy notice you would get if a full application is taken later. NMLS identification is disclosed before any application and on loan documents.

If you qualify a file, we ask for your name, mobile number, email, property state, a credit band you select, and the deal notes on that screen. Those notes can include a price, rent, loan amount, home value, mortgage balance, and what you want the money for.

The chat can send the notes you type: place, size, rent or lien, credit band, and timeline.

Do not put a Social Security number, a full account number, or a government ID number in any form or chat. We do not ask for them here.

The qualify form is not a hard credit pull and not an application. Sending it does not create a loan file in a credit bureau.

The site and our ad tools can collect the pages you open, the time of the visit, a rough location from your IP address, the browser and device type, and cookie identifiers.

Calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type there are not stored on a server unless you also submit the qualify form.

We use what you submit to text you about DSCR, HELOC, and related loan options. We text. We do not call.

We use site and ad data to see which pages and ads are working, to keep the site secure, and to reach people who are likely to want these loans.

We do not use this site to make a credit decision. A later application, if you choose to make one, is a separate step.

We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). This site uses the Meta Pixel. The pixel records a PageView when you open a page. If you submit a file, it can also record a Lead event with the name of the program, not your name, phone, or email inside that event.

Meta can still receive cookie and device data, and, if advanced matching is turned on in our Meta events settings, hashed contact details from form fields so Meta can measure the ad and build audiences. Meta's own policy describes how it uses that data.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Use of the Meta Pixel can be treated as sharing information for cross-context advertising. You can limit that in your Facebook ad settings, and you can block cookies in your browser.

The qualify form and the chat file are sent through Netlify Forms on themoneydoor.netlify.app. Submissions are emailed to office@themoneydoor.co. Netlify stores the contents of that submission.

Meta receives the pixel data described above.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a service provider who is working on a loan you asked us to move forward, such as an appraisal, title, or credit vendor. That happens after this website, not because you loaded a page.

We do not keep a database of names, phones, emails, or property details on this website. The copy we have is the email that lands in the office inbox, plus whatever Meta keeps under its own policy.

If you send a mobile number, you agree that we can text that number about the file you sent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, and HELP for help. We do not call.

We and Meta use cookies and similar tools to remember a visit, measure pages, and connect an ad click to a later form submit. You can refuse cookies in your browser. The site still works. Ad measurement will be less accurate.

We keep the email about your file for as long as we need it to text you, work the scenario, and meet legal record rules. You can ask us to delete the email we hold. Mail already delivered to Meta or FormSubmit is controlled by those companies.

Email office@themoneydoor.co to ask what we have, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond to a request about the office inbox. We may need to keep a record if a law, a regulator, or a fraud review requires it.

California residents can ask whether we sell or share personal information. We do not sell it for money. We do use the Meta Pixel as described above. You can opt out of that sharing by blocking cookies and by using Meta's ad preferences.

This site is for adults looking at real estate loans. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor sent a form, email office@themoneydoor.co and we will delete that email.

We can update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top is the current version.
